Responsibilities:
Ensures plant staffing levels are maintained to include interviewing and selection, pre-employment drug testing administration, and new hire orientation.
Performs employee relations duties.
Maintains current employee data files.
Ensures consistent compliance to counseling and corrective action policies, as well as other personnel policies and procedures.
Assist in recruitment Keeps work area neat, clean, and organized while working.
Maintains a safe work environment and works safety at all times.
Performs other duties as directed.
Filing documents/Answering phone calls Job Requirements:
Previous Human Resources experience is helpful, but not required.
Computer literate in electronic spreadsheet applications and word processing.
Experience with desktop publishing and computerized timekeeping/payroll applications helpful.
Attention to detail, good organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with others, as well as the ability to solve complex problems.
Ability to manage time and complete tasks in a fast paced, complex work environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision Must be able to speak, read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Schedule 8am-5pm M-F Job Type:
