About the Position This Order Fulfillment Supervisor position is a hands-on role which manages the day-to-day shipping operations across all brands from the LTL and FTL perspective.
This individual is responsible for leading the order fulfillment team with a positive attitude and maintaining a safe work environment for supporting staff.
What you can offer us:
Manage the day-to-day shipping operations for Made Goods.
Managing a team consisting of o 3 Leads o 2 Shipping clerks o 3-4 Pickers o 4-5 Packers/Palletizers o 1 Delivery Driver Ensure released shipping orders are picked, packed, and shipped (most orders are shipped next-day, with same-day for rush orders and sample swatches).
Being able to clearly communicate with senior management where all orders are at and understand where they are at in order fulfillment process Maintain order fulfillment metrics, including:
on-time shipment, mis-ship/mis-pack error rate, overtime percentage, safety (TRIR).
Working with OF manager to develop these metrics and keeping team accountable to standards developed Train, develop, and retain key staff.
Developing training guidelines for each department and creating a standard training plan throughout Continually work on Process Improvement throughout entire operation.
Focusing on improving efficiency and quality in every area of the operation Lead initiative to reduce packaging materials for all orders Maintain cleanliness in all working areas.
Working with leads and team making sure all aisles, workstations and vehicles are cleaned daily and records maintained.
Working with facilities team, establishing safety guidelines for staff and checking for compliance Make certain equipment and technology (RF guns) are well maintained.
Partner with Inventory Control and Receiving to ensure racking areas are clean and organized Improve employee morale by focusing on communication, training & development, and appreciation (our warehouse morale initiative) Be willing to get your hands dirty; need to be able to pick, pack, and process orders when the need arises.
Develop and update SOPs Join reoccurring meetings with stakeholders (sales, customer service, Production) to address cross-functional issues.

Supervisory experience in warehouse operations - minimum of 3 to 5 years High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred Microsoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel Application and prior use of ERP/WMS Systems Must work well in a team environment and with subordinates, peers, and outside managers/departments across the company Good verbal and written communications Strong problem-solving skills Forklift Certification and OSHA training are not required but beneficial.
Furniture experience is very helpful Physical Requirements:
