Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes or businesses - Follow delivery routes and time schedules - Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles - Provide excellent customer service during deliveries - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required - Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods is a plus - Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Skills:
- Office skills:
Proficiency in basic office tasks such as filing, organizing, and maintaining records - Computer skills:
Basic computer skills including data entry, email communication, and use of online navigation tools - Calendar management:
Experience in managing schedules and coordinating appointments or deliveries - Clerical skills:
Ability to perform clerical tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and record keeping Background check will be required before hiring.
