As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships with key players in the gaming industry, including game developers, various tournaments and gaming platforms, and any esports-related partners.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of partnership programs and initiatives as well as lead the day-to-day management of how our brand and our products are represented within these partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Identify and establish relationships with potential gaming partners, including game developers, esports organizations, and influencers.
Forecast, develop, and execute core marketing partnership programming including experiential, social, and digital-led initiatives, as well as playing a key role in iBUYPOWER's business is tied to the gaming vertical.
Prioritizing iBUYPOWER's product as a top of mind responsibility with current, relevant, and available updates to and from strategic partnerships (especially with those that require certain hardware commitments).
Monitors gaming and esports media, trends, and the changing entertainment and cultural landscape to keep team members aware in support of maintaining iBUYPOWER's position as a key player in the gaming industry.
Advise, lead, and support internal stakeholders on the development of brand sponsorship opportunities for iBUYPOWER and its third-party vendor partnerships.
Develop and execute partnership strategies to drive increased brand awareness, ROI and market presence in the gaming industry.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (General Marketing, Web, Sales, Product, etc.
) to create and implement partnership programs, events, and campaigns.
Works creatively with client team members to develop decks and report materials; experience with storytelling through presentations and strategic POVs is a plus.
Supports the research and strategy work leading into key partnership renewals and assists the internal team with partner negotiations.
Learns and manages client-facing project management systems and processes for the purpose of supporting the creation and approval of different project documents Maintains positive relationships with clients and partners to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Maintain iBUYPOWER product knowledge and sufficient hardware literacy when representing iBUYPOWER to new and repeat business opportunities.
Track and analyze partnership performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
3-4 years of experience in managing gaming partnerships and driving successful outcomes.
Strong understanding of the gaming industry, including trends, players, and key market segments.
Proactive ownership and self-development of gaming partnerships.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners.
Proficiency in using both critical thinking and data for Marketing and Community engagement strategies.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with business development and content development.
Proficiency in multiple social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, X, Reddit).
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally.
Active and passionate gamer (current first-person shooters a priority).
