Summary:
Responsible for acting as liaison between warehouse, drivers, and client traffic departments to effectively dispatch deliveries.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to Adheres to company shipping policies and procedures.
Ensures shipments follow client routing, shipping and other logistic requirements are met to prevent inefficiencies and chargebacks.
Maintains an accurate daily Order Summary Report and efficiently communicates shipping status.
Schedules pickup and delivery appointments.
Applies knowledge of delivery vehicle operation capacity to ensure delivery schedules are met.
Understands, interprets, and ensures adherence to applicable C-TPAT regulations.
Maintains a professional office environment and professional relations with clients and other employees.
Reviews documentation submitted by drivers each day to ensure proper completion.
Resolves operational and delivery problems.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
